They cover all aspects of post-harvest fisheries and aquaculture. With more than 50 governments supporting the network,and having strong links to the private sector,its activities are truly international.
The FIN ( FISH INFOnetwork) has more than 70 full time staff and works with more than one hundred international experts in all fields of fisheries. Through its link from FAO GLOBEFISH to the FAO Fisheries Department, its also has access to the latest information and knowledge on fisheries policies and management issues worldwide.
FIn executes donor projects,prepares market research for private companies and organises training courses oin marketing and quality assurance.
All seven services offer diffrent possibilities for co-operation with the provate sector,institutes,governemtn offices and donors.
